Abstract

This workshop focused on the institutionalization of the Danube Emissions Management Support System (DEMDESS) within Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and the Slovak Republic. Participants identified ways in which the system could be used to support the overall Environmental Programme for the Danube River Basin (EPDRB) which is currently being developed, and they also discussed how DEMDESS could be used by each country to manage water resources effectively.
