Abstract

This report describes the results of a project to evaluate and transfer the Nicaraguan rope and washer windpump to four other Latin American countries: Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, and Cuba. The rope windpump is seen as a low-cost, easy to maintain, technology that is suitable for small-scale irrigation.
