Abstract

This video has been created from videotape shot during a participatory video training programme in Pakistan. Viewers should note that the original videotapes were intended for informal sharing in Pakistan. The image quality is poor because of the editing duplication process and the consumer grade of the original equipment. When viewing, it should be remembered that you are looking at only a small portion of a complex participatory research and evaluation process. The tapes were shot by and for people directly involved in the Left Bank Outfall Drain Project. The tapes were made strictly to share information between villages and to communicate villagers' knowledge and recommendations to project planners and engineers. This tape contains two versions. It begins with a short summary (ca. 20 minutes), which is followed by the full version (35 minutes).
