Abstract

This document is a report of an inter-country workshop under the FRESH initiative. The report starts with a brief summary of the presentations of the representatives of three UN agencies - UNESCO, UNICEF, and the World Food Programme. The next section gives the subjects of the country papers and of the presentations of the country representatives. The participants then did an exercise in which they ranked which school health problems were most prevalent in their countries. They also did an exercise to determine which elements of FRESH they already practice and where the needs/gaps are. The workshop ended with the country teams and UNESCO determining how they would follow up the workshop. The clear structure of the report makes it possible to use it as a manual for replication to develop FRESH in other countries.
