| Abstract | Mvuramanzi Trust got involved in the construction of Fossa Alterna toilets in Calidonia as part of the anti Cholera campaigns as from the 1st of January 2009. In the project, there were 200 beneficiaries and amongst them were two other beneficiaries who are disabled. The immediate challenge was how to redesign the structure for it to be able to accommodate disabled people on wheelchairs. This issue is addressed step by step in this article. |
