Abstract

This article analyses the influence of privatization of water resources on access to the right to water in Kenya. It is premised on the belief that water is a fundamental human right and must not be seen as a social or economic good. Attention will be given to national-, regional- and international legislation and proposals on the right to water, water as a human right and the privatization of water resources.
