On the 3rd October 2014, IRC director Patrick Moriarty met with representatives of Safe Water Network and Youth and Social Enterprise Fund (Y-SEF) at the IRC office in The Hague in the context of the Ghana WASH Window. Discussions focused on ideas on how to possibly partner as part of the new call under the Ghana WASH Window (GWW). The new (third) call will open in October 2014 and close by the end of January 2015.
Representatives of Safe Water Network and Youth and Social Enterprise Fund (Y-SEF) were in The Netherlands in the first week of October as part of delegations of 15 Ghanaian companies /NGOs/knowledge Institutions and 7 government officials with the purpose to identify and select Dutch partners in the public and private sector to collaborate with for the third GWW call for proposals. The discussions on possible collaboration will be taken further in Ghana by the staff of the IRC Ghana country office.
