Abstract

Diarrhoea mostly results from lack of safe drinking-water, adequate sanitation and hygiene. A number of interventions are effective in preventing diarrhoeal diseases, thereby positively impacting the nutritional status of those most vulnerable.

This World Health Organization (WHO) web page provides a list of Cochrane and other related systematic reviews of the impact of water, sanitation and hygiene interventions on the prevention of diarrhoea, a list of current and ongoing related clinical trials, and other related documents.
