Abstract

The Kampala City-wide Inclusive Sanitation Pilot Project uses a network delivery model to improve onsite sanitation services (OSS) for the urban poor. Betty Musabe, Sanitation Marketing Officer at Water For People, shares the project's highlights, achievements and lessons learned. One of the challenges is the high cost of investment in financing the functionality and sustainability of all system building blocks.

Presentation shared at the All Systems Go Africa symposium 19-21 October 2022, under the session: National and decentralised area wide service delivery approaches.
