Associate | Monitoring Learning and Change Facilitator
Peter Magara is a Monitoring Learning and Change Facilitator. Peter has over 12 years' experience in the Uganda WASH sector and has extensive experience in facilitating multi stakeholder processes for driving action research, learning, testing and scaling up application of new solutions for delivering WASH service. Peter is a strong advocate for systems thinking and has worked in different capacities towards Strengthening Local Government and National WASH systems. He has been involved in a number of System strengthening initiatives that include; Supporting establishment and facilitation of multi stakeholder learning alliances at district and National level, and Supporting Local Governments develop Master Plans for Universal Access to Water and Sanitation services.
Peter holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University, Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Management from Makerere University, Kampala.
