Naomi has over 15 years of progressive experience in non-profit strategic communications management, development research writing and communication, media relations management and citizens engagement campaigns. She holds a MA in Journalism and Communication, a Bachelors of Mass Communication and a Diploma in Performing Arts (Theatre for Development major) all from Makerere University, Uganda. She also has a Diploma in Media & Land Governance from the MS Training Center for Development Cooperation in Arusha, Tanzania and a Certificate in Citizen Participation and Inclusive Governance from The Hague Academy for Local Governance in the Netherlands.
Naomi has previously worked with several organisations including; the International Refugee Rights Initiative as a Programme and Communications Officer, WaterAid Uganda as the Communications and Media Relations Manager, Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment as a Research Officer, and the Cross Cultural Foundation of Uganda as the Communications and Advocacy Officer.
