WASH Systems Strengthening Officer | IRC Ethiopia
Muhammed Ebrahim Mussa joined IRC in Ethiopia in April 2018. He has more than 17 years of experience working as an Environmental Health Technician, Assistant Lecturer, and Senior Sanitation Specialist in the government sector and as a WASH system change adviser and WASH Governance Specialist in multiple international NGOs. Muhammed completed his B.Sc. in Environmental Health Science from Jimma University.
With IRC, Muhammed has served as a WASH governance specialist and a WASH Systems Advisor focused on woreda WASH system strengthening. He has facilitated woreda learning platforms, capacity building trainings, supported the development of woreda master plans and resource mobilization strategy, and fostered engagement and co-creation of different research.
The South Ari Woreda learning alliance pushed for the establishment of the Gazer Town Water Supply Service Office as a utility to improve water services in the area. Read more...
